martial arts

I have thought long on martial arts and I believe that most martial artits are not really doing martial arts but more the art how to get others hurt, who are innocence. I want to talk on following issues, the spirit, the body of a martial artist, the technique, the practice, the life. I will better talk on warriors, because that the essence of martial arts.

the left stages

after beyond the game, there comes the stage of mastery of the game, then the stage of coach. it´s in basketball a little bit like earning your belt, but more fluidently and with less force. as one can see there is a lot to say I already said so much to the stages of the beginning! well the rest needs eye contact and personal showing, so I will stop here and come to a sport I like also, but only has come from far in touch with. it´s football. and then also martial arts, the two most brutal sports. I will start with martial arts and then football, I will give my thoughts on that.

behind skills

after getting known to the basics and developing the game, one reaches the state of beyond the game, this is the part where you try to impress others where you want to compete with other bplayer, you wanna trick them out, look how they play the game and how they are, any one who not is good enough, will be crushed at once. that the stage of beyond the game, when you step out on the court and surprise yourself with the skills you have, when you run over the court and stop at the three point line and try a shot and surprise it just goes through. this level of the game the youngster will reach with 15 or 16 due to talent. then he has the urge to play against anyone, he will on court whenever he can, when he is no worries at school, give him the oppurtunity. he will be always there trying shots, trying moves , making things that does astonish himself, his desire is just to be at the team he wants to be with, he is demanding fair play by anyone, I remember a game in Baltimore where a huge guy always pushed me beside and took the ball, I was to shy to say that it´s foul, so I lost desperately. in Baltimore I was at the peak of my game, I never had the oppurtnity to develop further, I was doing by that time at the age of fifteen 30% three pointer, that was pretty good. my shot was amazingly good compare to lack of time I had to practice and the weak physics I had.
at all I wanted to talk about the stage of beyond the game. beyond the game means to not fear any competition, it´s the time where the understanding of the game is perfect, playing 5 on 5 is the highest delight at this time. here you can show all you have learned. beyond the game is the time where you start to think on the psychological side of the game, how can I calm down in dificult situations. how can make the best choice at the game, how can I prepare best for a game. how can I get more game time, where does I belong, how good am I. here every youngster should get at least ten minutes game time, here it´s still not clear who will be good who will be a failure in basketball. give anyone game time who dares to go out there and makes mistakes and try then harder, give them a chance who get angry when they make a bad shot, who run hard and waste they whole power at once. these are the real talents. not those trying crazy passes in a game.
still there is a lot to say about beyond the game!

blocking

the most important thing about blocking is not to foul, if you have managed this first step, then I give you a tip, jump earlier then the other person, that will give you a 50% chance of blocking the other one, if you are a good deffence player. blocking is probably the greatest thing in basketball, nothing make the other player so much fear except you block him. I remember not the blocks I did, in high school I was too short for blocking, but I still remember when I halfly blocked a 2,05 m guy myself 1,85 he get so angry and fouled me hard next time I came near to him. blocking is the most effective weapon in psychological defence. block a Pat Ewing and he will be unable to play for th erest of the game at his prober norm, he will always think, how could this happen. I would laugh a lot if this would really happen, I would like to see his angry face. it would be worth a photography.
I never saw myself play on the video, that has been an advantage or not. but I think it´s ok, that would have hurt my game and my understanding of the game, I remember all my team mates wanted to impress my ass of coach, while I tried to convince him that I can belong to the team, my coach was really a big evil, but on the otherside it makes me tough, I thought always two steps ahead of others, while the thought on scoring, I thought over and over about the basics of the game, and you will find no coach who knows more about this game then I do know, and that I am serious in, it´s no joke. so much to blocking.

my best moment

in 2001 after one month of daily jump practice I grab my volleyball get out at the court, on a 3 m rim, so 5cm shorter then the real, on an asphalt court and made a slam after another, i JUST thought I am flying, I still remember those moments, that was really my greatest day, what belongs to sports except the day, where - on the same court- I throw the ball in the air it droped I started running the rised high grabbed the ball and slammed it, that was so great. with a real bball, that was my first and last halihoop.

my nower "dream team"

hshaq o´neal, nowitziky, jason kidd, grand wallace, tracy mcgrady with shaq and novi as centers, which idiot had put nowitzliy on right wing??? jason as guard, wallace and macgrady as flügel. they would beat any team.
I talked a lot of how get a kid into bball, what with nower players? start with practicing an hour always the same excersie one hour only the one and same drill, like shoot three pointer from side, that´s my only advice for crab NBA and old NBA..

the game

After two years of hard work, the 14-15 year aged boy should be able to play his first game. he is now ready for the GAME: shooting, faking, stealing, defence, blocking, passing, tricking, finger roll, dribbling behind the back, pasing over whole court and faking passes. he has to learn all this stuff. let´s go through them all, shooting: let him shoot from all positions, not starting from near to far, but from start shooting from everywhere. three pointer, distance shots and so on. get him use to spare with a partner and one rebounding the other one changing positions and shooting, build best always two partners for each session, so that two players stick together during a whole practice session. but this are tips for pro coaches and I don´t think high school coaches are pros.if you are a high school c#oach and have talented players then contact the NBA , the NBA should also send good coaches to random high schools. only so a good game will develop. and believe me that´s not an easy thing. all this shit that is now aired on tv is not basketball, it´s rubbish, it K1 for airheads. all the games I have watches from 1999 I have not seen one clean finger roll! and they earn their living with that, god what is your mind behind that? it´s to despair, I will not get friend with nower NBA players, they have disappointed me deep inside. they are on the level of german bundesliga 10 ages ago! forget about comparision with former NBA players. so much to shooting!
faking: show them all kind of fakes but CORRECT!
stealing: damn concentrate on the whole court, for stealing.
defence: play hard from any moment your opponent has the ball. !
the rest is for a higher stage, in one year through what I have written a good bballer can develop to "NBA" class.

after the basics

After one year of practice for a young guy, the basics are now gone over to routine. this is the time where the youngstar has to be taught about FITNESS!! he has to taught about sane nutrition, about a good behaviour in any situation, and about playing fair after the rules. and then he should be taught to strech right, 15 min of strechting the legs by spreading them. 3 times the week the youngster should practice that. then he should be taught that he has to move his body. to do sit ups and all that fitness without weights is important for a young guy who wants to become a basketball pro in the age between 12-13. and he should start with systematic jump practice. that means 1000 little jumps everyday or 3 times the day. practicing this over a year will make the boy to one of the best player of his age.
so after the basics the most importnat thing is FITNESS, but what does fitness mean in G E N E R A L?
it means ability to run 13 km , not more, to jump at least 30 cm high, to strech, and to be good in one kind of sports. that I would call a fit guy. then comes mental self control, and the will to help others to stay fit. that´s the supremest fitness. but let not go too far, so after the youngster has found out how important fitness is, 3 times the week jogging or spinning, streching and " crunches" he has to be taught #about how to avoid injuries. for example in a crowd don´t jump, wait for the others to jump. take open shots don´t go into the crowd, just to get nearer to the basket. in defence learn first how the other one plays and especially don´t be fooled by left handers! teach him how to defence left handers. and teach him after grabbing a rebound to secure the ball with ellbows. teach him further not to play with trash talkers, and not jump from high obstacles, that all will make him secure against serious injuries, and most important, don´t let him play volleyball or throw himself on his knees, that costed me one year of brake in the game.
that should be all for the chapter after basics, one should teach the youngsters the physics of the game, fitness and self protection.

the basics

We still are at the basics, I want now explain how to learn the basics. one starts with dribbling, then goes over to weak hand dribbling, a bad think is for sure to dribble with closed eyes, one has to learn to dribble and see what´s happening around, a lot of people believe when you close eyes then you you learn to look away from ball, maybe, but you get not the feeling for that when the ball could be stealed. the looking away from the ball comes automatically with enough practice. So learn to dribble with open eyes. dribbling with closed eyes as practice is a skill that only pros can handle, and by now I do not know any pro who is good enough to practice this way, only the master of the game will be able to take profit from dribbling with closed eyes in practice. after one has learned to dribble the next step is to throw with the board easy baskets. after managing this stage you go further to doing layups, it ´s important to do layups from left and right. of course the left layups will at first be very frustating. after having learned the basics of offence, the defense part is then on the line. show at first how to move the feets, one step to the next and never let the feets come close to each other. here starts the point, where the bplayer has to jogg daily. he has to be fit to perform 20 min defence. If I would have known that, I would now be a player, everyone had difficulties to play against. but unfortunately no one tell me to run, no one taught me defence. What I have learned about this game, came mostly from own hard experiences, so I am a kind of pioneer in this game, but I hope to make the way for other bplayer easier through sharing my experiences with them.

Basketball

I want to talk on my experiences in the field of basketball. unfortunately my new created blog, that I created for that does not work, so I have to use this blog.
but now to basketball. How to learn the basics? Any good player has to come back to the basics every 3 or 5 years, he has to start from new just when he thinks he is on the top of his game. Jordan did a bad mistake going to baseball after his 3rd champions title, he should have start from new, thinking over the basics to make his game better. but how now to learn the basics? it´s a fault to give children small balls, they get used to a wrong feeling. one should start playing ball when old enough to handle the big balls, and the first things one should learn is dribbling, that the most thing in the game of basketball, a basketball who cannot play the ball behind the back is a bad one, not worth to think about him, the mastery is the dribbling through the legs from behind, I never saw this move in any game, that´s not good, that´s the most effective play you can imagine, a pro, that does not have this skill is not a true pro. dribbling, how to learn dribbling? play on a ground without basket, that make your skill in dribbling better, continous dribbling is what a basketball player good. If you are good even two men cannot take the ball away from you. I remember a game where I outscored three guys and made a great pass to a free standing player, unfortunately he misses his shot, but I still remember this great momnet of my game, also I had not very great moment, dueing to the shit basketball club in my city i was in, they never accepted my talent and my will to learn all skills of the game. most of them become third class players, with big mouth and no skill, I hadn´t the oppurtunity to complete my game, but my understanding of the game is far beyond that of nower NBA players, they just play to earn money to get girls and so, it´s a shame and shouold not be respected. I never think a david robinson played for money. or a magic johnson cared about how big his pool is. I have now overweight, otherwise I would still be out there playing the game, but I have to start from new , I have first to get rid of my 20 kg overweight, then I can start working on the bqasics of the game, i will then be out there, practicing layups and trying moves.

hello

have for a week vacation, so I can blog, I am not very much anymore in blogging. hanging on my mad thoughts, what is actually real what is not real, what an easy question so hard to answer. I have often the days moments where I just feel tired and worn out, I really do not anymore how to live, just forget a normal life. life is so weird and I have no excuse for all the things people are doind. Life has become weird for me, therre is noo question about that.
c. I think we are very close to each other, but I don´t know how close, and there are moments where I doubt it so much, people are always telling sth. else then me. what making me really mad is that we never can meet, that I will never see your pretty face. these are the hardest moments in my life. people tink they ae so superior to me, I should teach them sth. else, but you know that we you start listening to the people everything goes wrong. c. I miss you so much, and also people call me mad, I will not stop believing in you. I just wonder why everyone around me has success but I not, sth. is going wrong in this world.
